Another of my wonderful wedding couples, turned into a beautiful family! One of my favorite things to capture are the genuine moments of families with young children. Through my experience, I've learned that these fleeting years of childhood are incredibly precious. Beauty and value can be found in every laugh, tantrum, and messy moment. These special photos tell the story of a family's journey and remind us of the authenticity and beauty found in the chaos. I believe that even the imperfect moments are what make these times so special and worth preserving. When I photograph families with young children, I strive to create lasting memories that they can cherish forever.

Alexandra + Alan | Rainy Mt. Rainier Elopement at Copper Creek Inn and Longmire Bridge {Mt. Rainier National Park, Ashford, WA}

These two adventurers came all the way from California to elope at the charming little Copper Creek Inn on the Ashford side of Mt. Rainier National Park. After the ceremony, we wandered around the mountain and took some awesome wedding day portraits at Longmire Bridge. Although it can be pretty chilly, February is such a beautiful month at Mt. Rainier (the parts that are accessible at least) because it is typically rainy and overcast, and the rich, moody colors are unmatched! Such a peaceful and wonderful afternoon to get married!

Nicole + Justin | Pinnacle Peak Adventure Elopement {Mt. Rainier National Park, WA}

Nicole and Justin eloped at Pinnacle Peak, a gorgeous hike at Mt. Rainier National Park. Justin used to be a ranger at Mt. Rainier so it is a very special destination to them. Their best friends came along for their special day and acted as their officiants. One of my favorite parts of the evening was at the very end of their ceremony, the fog came rolling in right in time for their first kiss as a married couple! It was so magical, I couldn’t believe the timing. Bravo, Mother Nature.

The day after their wedding, Cameo and Dawson met me at Tipsoo Lake on Mt. Rainier for their day-after wedding portrait session, and it was absolutely incredible. The weather was magical!

Cameo and Dawson had a gorgeous, romantic backyard wedding in Olalla, WA. They began their day getting ready with their wedding parties, sang worship music and exchanged their vows, grubbed on homemade tacos, and celebrated with their friends and family!

Janita + Jonathan | Intimate Mid-Morning Wedding at Vashon Field and Pond {Vashon, WA}

This maybe isn’t saying much, because all of my couples make me happy, but this wedding had me smiling from cheek to cheek the entire day. These two have the cutest relationship and their love blessed all in attendance to their intimate, family-oriented wedding day on Vashon Island. Janita described Jonathan as the Yang to her Yin, and that was apparent from the moment I met them. They complete eachother.
